Retaining & Noise Wall Foundations

The installation of 350 foundations for retaining and noise walls was a noteworthy project for Civil Group. The project site was located within a live rail corridor in Adelaide South Australia. The need for safety and vigilance was paramount to the success of this operation.
The project team delivered all of its foundation installations ahead of schedule including the difficult installation of a 15M, 900mm concrete stormwater pipe under 2 sets of train tracks. This work was completed in 3 continuous shifts without damage to the tracks to ensure minimum disturbance to the train timetable and commuters.
